ABOUT US
SellAScript.com was founded by Paul Harvey as a direct result of his close contact with writers
over his years in the film business. Writers had often expressed
their disappointment and frustration in the current Hollywood
system and other sites had not managed to provide them with
as much feedback as they needed, or an extensive variety of
services all under one roof. All this served to demonstrate
that SellAScript.com was an invaluable
service that was past due.
Although other
sites exist that offer writers coverage and development services
and others yet that offer a means of selling a writer's work,
Paul was keen to bring everything under one
roof, where daily screening would take place and the integrity
of the site would be maintained.
SellAScript.com does not take commission for any script
or writer's work sold as a result of using this site - but
feel free to write a Thank You note!
SellAScript.com is overseen by a dedicated workforce that
has worked within Hollywood and the film business for years.
Extensive research took place amongst writers and film executives
in order to create this site and its supportive community.
We hope you enjoy using it.

SellAScript.com's principals:
Paul Harvey
has been in the film business since 1996. He previously served as the President of Production for Original Voices, Inc, the company responsible for indie hits such as The Opposite of Sex and Big Night. During Paul's tenture, he
supported and/or produced films such as Bruno, The Whole Shebang, and After School Special.
Donna Milazzo
has been an advertising executive for Music Express Limousine Service, as well as an advertising executive for Bally Total Fitness' corporate operations.
SellAScript.com's contributors:
Donna Burns
has years of experience in the entertainment industry, starting
at the publicity and marketing departments at PolyGram Films.
She then went on to work directly under the President of Distribution at PolyGram Filmed Entertainment, where she interfaced with producers, exhibitors, distributors and talent - overseeing the release and distribution of such films as
Notting Hill,
The Big Lebowski
and Elizabeth.
From there Donna joined with other studio executives to form the Philips Entertainment Group, a marketing arm of Philips Electronics that served as a liaison between hardware manufacturers and major motion picture studios.
There she successfully marketed the launch of DVD and TiVo.
Ryan Dempsey
has many years of experience in script coverage and analysis. A former journalist, Ryan earned an MFA in screenwriting from Loyola Marymount University, and has both agency and development experience having read for ICM, APA and Phoenix Pictures.
Laura Salisbury
has many years of experience in script coverage and analysis, and is a writer in her right. She holds a bachelor's degree from UCLA in English Literature, and a certificate from the UCLA Professional Program in Screenwriting, which provides graduate level coursework to working professionals.
